Driftwood Ceramics is hosting this event in support of Kids & Art, a foundation that uses the power of the arts and creativity to mitigate stress, anxiety and trauma induced from the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cancer and other critical medical conditions.

 

This event will be held April 6th, starting at 10am (sign in starts at 9:30am) and will be over by 4pm. All challenges will be doable at any pottery-level. All events will be wheel throwing only and will be focused on size and amount of pieces thrown in a certain amount of time instead of perfection of style to be fair to all participants. Challenges will remain secret until the start of the event!

The first and second place winners will receive a prize package from our sponsors. We will also have betting tickets available for friends and family to bet on anyone doing the event. If that person wins the event, all the tickets will go towards free classes from our studio and other fun prizes from our sponsors! They will be contacted after the event to set up class times. We will also have free beer from Cinder Block Brewery at the event for everyone 21+!
